Regular Activities
Fellowship Fridays: Faith, Food, & Fun, 3:30-5:30 pm
Join students in grades 6-8 for prayer, games, and refreshments to support one another in our journey of faith. Feel free to bring a friend!
Women of the Word: Wednesdays 7:30-8:30 pm
Ladies in grades 9-12 are welcome for prayer and fellowship. Feel free to invite friends to join us.

Youth & Family Reunion: Saturday, August 16, 1-3pm
Youth of all ages (with or without parents) are welcome for an afternoon of games, refreshments, and prayer as we prepare for a new academic year. Reunite with participants in Athletes for Christ, our parish service camp, and other gatherings. Contact Sister Marie Benedict (youth@stphilipfc.org) or call the parish office with questions.

Sister Marie Benedict is our Director of Youth Ministry. She grew up at St. Mark Parish in Vienna, VA, attended the University of Virginia, and worked in the DC area before entering the Franciscan Sisters of the Eucharist. She lived at the Community's Motherhouse in Meriden, CT, for 10 years, where she completed her formation to become a fully professed religious sister.
During that time, Sister Marie Benedict also taught classes and conducted campus ministry at an archdiocesan Catholic high school. Now in Falls Church, Sister Marie Benedict divides her time between theological studies at the Catholic University of America and St. Philip Parish.
