Sister Marie Benedict is our Director of Youth Ministry. She grew up at St. Mark Parish in Vienna, VA, attended the University of Virginia, and worked in the DC area before entering the Franciscan Sisters of the Eucharist. She lived at the Community's Motherhouse in Meriden, CT, for 10 years, where she completed her formation to become a fully professed religious sister.

During that time, Sister Marie Benedict also taught classes and conducted campus ministry at an archdiocesan Catholic high school. Now in Falls Church, Sister Marie Benedict divides her time between theological studies at the Catholic University of America and St. Philip Parish.

All ages (including parents) are welcome to celebrate St. Nicholas by preparing and delivering cookies. We will start in the Hayden Hall kitchen and conclude with lunch at a parishioner's home. Youth participating without a parent will need a permission form for delivery and lunch.
