Sister Marie Benedict is our Director of Youth Ministry. She grew up at St. Mark Parish in Vienna, VA, attended the University of Virginia, and worked in the DC area before entering the Franciscan Sisters of the Eucharist. She lived at the Community's Motherhouse in Meriden, CT, for 10 years, where she completed her formation to become a fully professed religious sister.
During that time, Sister Marie Benedict also taught classes and conducted campus ministry at an archdiocesan Catholic high school. Now in Falls Church, Sister Marie Benedict divides her time between theological studies at the Catholic University of America and St. Philip Parish.

Embracing the Future with Hope
Sunday, January 11, 6-8pm
As we celebrate the Baptism of the Lord and our own baptismal call, all are welcome to our next "Eat, Drink, and Be Catholic," beginning with Evening Prayer in the church (6pm) and followed by a potluck in Hayden Hall. We will hear testimonies from a variety of professional experiences and also have an opportunity to receive prayer partners for the year. Come, share the journey!
