cONFIRMATION WILL BE ON APRIL 24, 2027 AT 1:30PM

Forms and Documents - deadline: Sunday, March 1st, 2027

• Confirmation Register Information Form
• Baptism Certificate - Must have information about First Holy Communion. Please inform the RE Office if your child was baptized at St. Philip. This information should also be included in the Confirmation Register Information Form.
• Birth Certificate - If there isn't a copy on file.
• Confirmation Sponsor / Proxy Affidavit - Only one sponsor is needed; if the sponsor is not able to be here on the day of Confirmation, you will need to submit a form for the Proxy as well.
• Fees - $50. This covers the cost of the retainable gown for Confirmation and the Retreat.
• Student Height - Must be provided to the RE Office by December 14th, 2025

Confirmation Retreat- November 7, 2026 at St. Philip 10am-4pm

NET Ministry is coming to St. Philip!

On November 7th St. Philip will be hosting a group of young adults from NET Ministry for the Confirmation Retreat.

Imagine a day where young people dive into their faith and connect with God in a new, deep, and personal way. They are met by joyful, energetic young adults who are on fire with God’s love. They listen to life-changing talks, engage in small group discussions, hear powerful personal testimonies, and encounter Christ in a personal way through prayer. They are inspired, with hearts ignited in a new way by the love of Christ, and ready for the next step in their faith.

We are also looking for host families for the Missionaries. If you can host 2 missionaries for November 6-8 please contact the RE office.

LIVE VERTICAL will also be leading a guided meditation during Adoration.

It will be a prayerful and fun day and one that will inspire our Confirmandi

Confirmation Requirements

As your child prepares to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation, we ask families to provide the following documents:

Paperwork Due: Monday, March 1st, 2027

• Confirmation Register Information Form
• Baptism Certificate
• Confirmation Sponsor / Proxy Affidavit
• Saint Board Project (to be distributed in class)
• Works of Mercy Service Project (to be distributed in class)
• The Confirmation retreat is mandatory for students in Year 2 of Confirmation!
• Candidate Height, due by December 14th, 2026

Confirmation Retreat Fee, $50 per student (Due by October 30, 2026)

Important Information

The Baptismal Certificate should be a recent copy issued by the parish where your child was baptized, especially if the Baptism took place at a different parish.

If your child was baptized or received First Holy Communion at St. Philip Catholic Church, please let the Religious Education Office know, as we may be able to verify the sacramental record through the parish.

Please submit all required documents to the Religious Education Office so that we can ensure your child’s sacramental records are complete before Confirmation.

If you have difficulty obtaining any of these documents, please contact the Religious Education Office for assistance.

Retiro de Confirmación:

7 de noviembre de 2026 en St. Philip, de 10:00 a. m. a 4:00 p. m.

¡Los misioneros de NET vienen a St. Philip! El 7 de noviembre, St. Philip recibirá a un grupo de jóvenes adultos de NET Ministry para el retiro de Confirmación.

Imaginen un día en el que los jóvenes profundizan en su fe y conectan con Dios de una manera nueva, profunda y personal. Se encontrarán con jóvenes adultos alegres y llenos de energía, apasionados por el amor de Dios. Escucharán charlas que transforman vidas, participarán en debates en grupos pequeños, oirán testimonios personales impactantes y se encontrarán con Cristo de forma personal a través de la oración. Saldrán inspirados, con el corazón encendido de una manera nueva por el amor de Cristo y listos para dar el siguiente paso en su fe.

También buscamos familias anfitrionas para los misioneros. Si puede alojar a dos misioneros del 6 al 8 de noviembre, por favor comuníquese con la oficina de Educación Religiosa (RE).

LIVE VERTICAL también dirigirá una meditación guiada durante la Adoración.

Será un día lleno de oración y alegría, que inspirará a nuestros confirmandos.

Requisitos de confirmación

Mientras su hijo se prepara para recibir el Sacramento de la Confirmación, solicitamos a las familias que proporcionen los siguientes documentos:

• Declaración Jurada de Padrino/Madrina o Delegado de Confirmación
• Proyecto de Afiche de Santo (se dará en clases) o Report de Santo (se dará en clases)
• Horas de Servicio de Obras de Misericordia (se dará en clases)
• Altura del Candidato (debe entregarse antes del 14 de diciembre de 2026)

Cuota de Confirmación, $50 por estudiante (pagable antes de Octubre 30, 2026)

• Formulario Información Registro de Confirmación
• Fe de Bautismo - Debe tener la información sobre la Primera Comunión. Por favor informe a la Oficina de ER si su hijo fue bautizado en San Felipe. Esta información también debe agregarse en el Formulario Información Registro de Confirmación.
• Fe de Nacimiento (certificado) - Si no existe la copia en el expediente del estudiante.
• Declaración Jurada de Padrino/Madrina o Delegado de Confirmación - Solo se requiere un Padrino o Madrina. Si esa persona no va a estar el dia de la Confirmación, debe presentar este formulario para la persona que lo va a representar (el Delegado)
• Costo - $50. Cubre el costo de la Toga de Confirmación y del Retiro. Si por motivos financieros no puede cancelar este monto, por favor contacte la Oficina de ER.
• Altura del Candidato - Debe darse a la Oficina de ER antes del domingo 14 de diciembre de 2026
